This is a hi-hat control pedal for Roland electronic drums. When used in conjunction with dynamic-compatible pads such as the CY-5, it allows for advanced hi-hat techniques, including normal open and closed sounds, half-open playing, and continuous control from open to closed. I am selling it because I switched to a different hi-hat. If used in a cold environment for a while, the internal rubber parts may harden, and the pedal's response may become sluggish. In that case, disassembling the pedal and removing the rubber parts, then soaking them in hot water will soften the rubber, allowing it to function normally. (It is currently back to a soft state, and I have confirmed that it is working properly.) Also, replacement rubber parts, although not manufacturer-original, seem to be available for sale. There are fine scratches on the pedal surface and the toe-piece. Please check the photos. Rust is visible on the screws on the top of the pedal in the photos, but these screws have been replaced. I am also selling the CY-5 simultaneously, so if you wish to purchase them as a set, please apply for a combined purchase. Cables and tuning keys are not included.
