Dimensions: Approximately H 6.6cm x W 10.5cm. Based on today's research, this appears to be a red raku tea bowl by Hokuzan Chikkan. He creates works specializing in bamboo, such as tea whisks, at the foot of Mount Hiei. It is a small, elegant bowl. Mount Hiei is also known as the "Capital Fuji" and appears in the Kojiki (Records of Ancient Matters). It is a mountain of religious significance. I believe Chikkan is a bamboo craftsman.
