This is a pickup for the Gibson LP-3 Les Paul Standard 5-String Bass. I am selling it because I no longer need it. This is a custom pickup made by Grinning Dog Studio. A hand-winding pickup workshop that is highly regarded for its commitment to reproducing vintage pickups. The Gibson LP-3 was apparently only produced from around '90 to '93, and a 5-string version is likely quite rare. The sound is excellent. Despite being a Gibson, it has a Jazz Bass-like attack, which is fantastic. The front pickup alone has a coil-tap function.
