Emperor Miles Davis. This is a live performance from the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland on July 17, 1986. I believe this is the only item besides the official box set that contains the complete performance. It's a 2-CD set, pressed, and the label appears to be Italian. 1986 was the year that Robben Ford, who was with the band for a short time, was active, and the title of this item is "Robben's Blues." Also, as fans know, saxophonist David Sanborn and keyboardist George Duke were guest performers at this concert, and they really went wild, adding excitement to the performance. I think this CD was considered a particularly good performance, as there are no other full recordings of the Montreux performance. For the tracklist, please refer to the box set commentary on pages 826-829 of "Listen to Miles!" Ver. 8 by Yasuki Nakayama, former editor-in-chief of Swing Journal. Please refer to the image for the band members.
