A retro antique box camera, the ANSCO SHUR-SHOT. This box camera is a charming piece of camera history. The ANSCO Shur Shot camera was a very popular box camera made by GAF around 1948. It has a basic design with a vertically elongated aluminum front panel. It uses 120 roll film. Its design, which looks like it's smiling with wide eyes and a big mouth, is cute and will bring a smile to your face when displayed in a room. *The following adjustments and maintenance were performed: Body: Sterilization cleaning, some rust is visible on the front panel. Lens: Cleaning. Finder: Cleaning. Some dirt is visible on the mirror, but it does not affect use. Shutter: Functions. Shutter speed is about 1/40, aperture is fixed at around F8-11. Focus: Fixed at infinity. Light seals: Not needed, the structure provides light-tightness. Film: Uses 120 roll film.
