Vintage Customized Relic Stratocaster with Old Wiring and Old Capacitor Alder Body, Alnico V Pickups Specifications: Thank you for viewing. With time and effort, we have recreated a Relic specification that replicates a real and impactful 1960s Stratocaster that has been used for many years. We have also selected vintage parts, and the pickups feature tight lows, balanced mids, and crisp highs, with a sense of power, and are equipped with Alnico V single pickups that can handle various genres from vintage styles. The color is a vintage-feeling Candy Apple Red. We have assembled an original Relic Stratocaster with an alder body, a slightly flat fingerboard, and a relatively thin neck with high frets, allowing for stress-free playing from low to high end with the same feel, just like the vintage Strats we have in stock. Relic and Aged treatments have been applied to parts other than the body and neck. It is assembled with carefully selected vintage 1960s capacitors and 1970s vintage wiring, providing the resolution and warm, non-irritating sound unique to vintage instruments. The pickup heights, which affect the sound, have been adjusted for the front, center, and rear pickups. Setup: Set up with John Frusciante's preferred bright and clear D'Addario 010-046 Regular LIGHT gauge strings, with 1.6mm at the 12th fret on the 1st string and 1.9mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string.
