This is a pipe case and tobacco case left by my grandfather. The cases are empty. These items were actually used by my grandfather. I don't know the exact year of manufacture, but judging by the period, they were probably made about 100 years ago. I'm not sure if the material is wood or bamboo, but I think it's probably wood. They are very light, as I hardly feel their weight. They are quite worn, and the insides are also dirty. The string broke while I was taking pictures. The string is also quite deteriorated, so you may need to replace it if you intend to use them. I will leave the string as it is. I think it can be easily replaced, but I hope you can refer to the knots, etc. These are antique items from a long time ago and are quite deteriorated, but they are well-used and have a tasteful appearance as antiques.
