Compared to the Cal.550 series, it features a high-beat specification with a frequency increased from 19,800 vibrations to 28,800 vibrations, and the thickness has been reduced from 5mm to 4.25mm, making it a thinner movement. The date quick-set operation in the Cal.560 series required pulling the crown to the second position, but with the Cal.1022 (Cal.1000 series), the date can be set by pulling the crown to the first position and rotating it downwards, and the time is set by pulling the crown to the second position. The operation method has been updated to be similar to current models, making it easier to use.
