This is a hand-wound pickup, the Great Vintage PAF-style pickup from Luthier Pickups, being sold by a private seller on Yahoo Auctions.
It was used in a Les Paul.
Specifications are as follows:
Magnet: Alnico 3 rough cast magnet, long type
Wire: Plain enamel AWG42
Cover: German silver, pitch 49.2mm vintage type
Base plate: German silver, short leg, screws M2.6 stainless steel (retaining screws are brass)
Lead wire: Gibson type 1-core mesh shield
Lead-out wire: Oxygen-free copper, low resistance
Bobbin potting: None
*Overall potting is done after assembly to suppress howling.
Solder: Vintage (Kester, Milcore, etc.)
Winding method: Scatter wound & unbalanced wound
Output etc.: Front - Inductance approx. 4.2H / Resistance 6.9KΩ Rear - approx. 5.3H / 8.0KΩ (may vary slightly)
This is a vintage-type humbucker with low output, scatter wound, and unbalanced wound (with a difference in the number of turns on the upper and lower bobbins), offering excellent clarity, separation, and transparency.
It seems to be a popular choice for those who find that the low end of a regular humbucker is too excessive and muddy.
It has also received good reviews for use in hollow-body guitars.
It has been praised for its clear, extended sound.
Even when distorted, it provides a very natural distortion, making it a versatile pickup.

It was used in a Gibson Les Paul. The front is 26cm, and the bridge is 27cm.
