This is a quena from Quena Kobo Pino in Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture. The material is rare Hourai bamboo (golden bamboo). Perhaps because this bamboo has a lot of fibers, the sound is soft and the high notes don't sound tinny. This was specially taught to me by a craftsman at a quena workshop in Peru.
