Neck is almost straight. The sound is not dull. It has a clear, ringing tone. The attack is sharp and feels great to play. The YC100 is a rare vintage model. It's different from the mass-produced YC100. This one uses high-quality quarter-sawn wood for the back. All solid wood. I think it's a one-of-a-kind. The top has very fine grain in the center and very coarse grain around the edges, with countless tiger stripes, a magnificent cedar. As an aside, when the late Kazuo Yairi, the president, saw this guitar, he said, "This kind of (good) wood is hidden where only I know. I have to use it someday." Also, it comes with a genuine K. Yairi logo aluminum frame case with a solid build. "We used to struggle with the quality of the cases, but this one is solid," he praised. It's a vintage item.
