This is a SD size kimono (furisode set). When I used to enjoy the hobby of dolls, I had someone who does Japanese tailoring make it so that I could dress the doll without knowing much about kimonos. It is made from various materials such as antique silk kimono fabrics. It's almost New Year's, so you can dress your doll right away with this furisode set. The seams on the sleeves are proof of hand-sewn tailoring, and of course, they also exist on human kimonos. Hiyoku tailoring is a method of tailoring that makes it look like two kimonos are layered. Only the sleeve openings, furisode parts, collar, and hemline are double-layered by sewing on a fabric called hiyoku-ji. The antique fabrics were purchased in various ways, such as remnants, rolls of cloth, kimonos from markets, stores, events, and disassembled kimonos, and the remnants of the old fabrics sometimes have parts where cuts were joined. Since I don't buy new fabrics at stores, the hiyoku-ji part of this undergarment is white, so it is prone to yellowing discoloration due to aging, and this undergarment has it.
