This is a teapot I collected as a hobby a long time ago to enjoy delicious sencha. I had forgotten about it, but I am listing it now to organize my belongings. The teapot for sale features a beautiful nerikomi (kneaded clay) pattern with a green base mixed with vermilion and black. The ever-changing nerikomi pattern throughout is a lovely feature of this wonderful piece. Size (approx.): 16 cm x 14.5 cm x Height 8 cm (Includes spout, handle, and lid) Capacity: Approximately 270ml (full to the brim) It has been stored for a long time, and its history is unknown, but I believe it is either unused or has been used a few times, so I have listed it as "Like New." Please check the condition in the photos. Tokoname-yaki teapots are said to enhance the flavor of tea. The iron content in the clay is said to react with the tannins in the tea, mellowing the bitterness and creating a smoother taste. Although this item has been handled with care, it has been in someone's possession. I do not recommend it to those who seek perfection in their products.
