This is a silk gauze (sha-tsumugi) kimono. The color is a deep, yet not overly heavy, blend of dark purple and gray. The design features autumn flowers like pampas grass and goldenrod arranged in a pattern similar to a "tsukesage" style, appearing to float gently. It would be perfect for late summer. It has a lining (ishiki-ate). This belonged to my mother. The length is 154 cm. It has been used, but I believe it is in very good condition. It has been treated with Pearl Tone processing.
