I purchased this because I like Mr. Funakushi's work, but I am selling it to organize my collection and because I don't use large plates. I have used it about 1-2 times after purchase. There are no cracks or chips. Please understand that returns are not accepted. It is made of clay containing iron, and the black color has a beautiful luster, making it a very lovely piece. Atsushi Funakushi, who established his own kiln in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, known as a production area for Kasama-yaki pottery, in 2009. Mr. Funakushi's pieces are popular both domestically and internationally, including among restaurants and chefs. I also plan to list white rim plates and Mashiko-yaki pottery.
