This item was purchased at Villa San Michele on the island of Capri, Italy. It is a rare piece painted by the painter Bengt Böckman (Sweden, born 1936). ★Size: 19 x 14cm (large format) The paper is very thick. Villa San Michele was built at the end of the 19th century by Axel Munthe, a Swedish doctor and writer. He said, "My house must be open to the sun, the wind, and the sound of the sea, like a Greek temple, and everywhere must be filled with light, light, light!" He describes the construction of this villa in his bestseller "The Story of San Michele," which has been translated into 45 languages. These 10 postcards depict the wonderful atmosphere of this villa with a gentle touch. When I visited the villa over 20 years ago, I was fortunate enough to purchase the few remaining items. I have kept them carefully stored at home, as I couldn't bear to use them. I think it's a wonderful item that can be used as interior decoration, such as displaying several of them on the wall (framed). I will sell it to anyone who is interested.
