It seems to be called "Sometsuke Nishiki Botan Marumon." I bought it over 10 years ago. I'm getting rid of dishes I haven't used in a year during my year-end cleaning. I've never used them since I bought them, and I wondered if they would share the same fate? However, the feeling of weight when I held them, the history, and my research led me to discover more. It's from one of the three major kilns of Arita, and each piece is hand-painted with a brush, making it unique. Indeed, the shapes of the flowers and leaves are subtly different on each piece. See photos 4 and 6. Also, the patterns on the bottom and around the sides are different even on a single piece. Please check photos 7 through 12. Although not unused since purchase, there are no scratches or cracks. See photo 13. Please check photos 14 and 15 for the approximate size. For packaging, each piece will be wrapped in bubble wrap, and cardboard will be packed tightly inside the box. Finally, cardboard will be placed on top, and the wooden box lid will be closed. See photos 16 and later. When shipping, this will be placed in a cardboard box. I'm offering these for sale, hoping someone who loves Arita-yaki, Gen'emon kiln pottery, will use them. They should brighten up your dining table for the New Year's holidays. I look forward to hearing from those who understand that these are old dishes and are willing to purchase them. Thank you.
