This is a handmade 14k yellow gold Akoya pearl pendant top. The chain is not included. Both the fittings that pierce the pearl and the bail are made of solid 14k gold, not plated or gold-filled. The hallmark indicates the gold purity, reading 585. The pearl is an Akoya pearl from Ago Bay, Mie Prefecture, white in color and baroque in shape. It has a good luster and measures approximately 8 x 10mm, slightly elongated.
