Cleaning out a house over 100 years old, from my great-grandfather's home. By Koun Ohara, the 2nd generation of the Ohara School. Born in Shimane Prefecture in 1880. Following his father, Unshin, he went to Osaka and succeeded the founder after his death, becoming the second headmaster. He established the first branch organization in the flower arrangement world, establishing modern teaching methods and organization. He expanded the Ohara School nationwide. I believe these items were used by my grandmother and aunts, who were born in the Meiji era. The box shows signs of aging, but the book is in good condition.
