This model, produced from 1981 to 1983 as a successor to the "FG-300D" made in the 1970s and 1980s, is a rare find, rarely seen on the market. Materials: Top: Spruce, Sides & Back: Rosewood, Neck: Nato, Fingerboard & Bridge: Rosewood The original price at the time of release was 30,000 yen, a mid-range model. Although the top is spruce plywood, the combination with rosewood sides and back provides a bright, well-balanced sound with deep bass and rich overtones. While the plywood construction kept costs down, it features luxurious inlays and gold hardware. The YAMAHA logo on the headstock is also inlaid and beautiful. It is in very clean condition, with only minor scratches and slight scuffs, and some clouding of the finish in some areas. After acquisition, a full cleaning was performed, and rust and tarnish were removed from the metal parts. The frets were cleaned after rust removal, and lemon oil was applied to the fingerboard. There is slight wear on the frets and fingerboard from use, but there are no issues with playability. The saddle has been shaved for low action adjustment. (Approximately 2.25mm on the 1st string, approximately 2.75mm on the 6th string) The nut, saddle, and bridge pins (with inlays) have all been replaced with bone, improving the sound's clarity and sustain. It's an old guitar, but it has been equipped with custom parts and adjusted to be ready to play immediately, so please consider it if you are interested. However, please be aware that this is a used item, so there may be some scratches. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item or are very particular.
