【Product Description】 Catalyst Jakkerman Jan Akkerman model Purchased several years ago. This is the signature model of Jan Akkerman, who was a member of the Dutch progressive rock band Focus. Based on sales history and owner reviews from overseas websites, it appears to have been released around the year 2000. It seems that a model equipped with Kinman passive pickups was also released, but this is the later model equipped with EMG pickups. Front: EMG-FT, a model that resembles the front pickup of a Telecaster. Rear: EMG-60 A Shadow piezo pickup is installed on the bridge. The four controls are believed to be master volume/magnetic-piezo balancer/high cut/low cut. The body material appears to be a composite of ceramic and graphite. The body color is a brown sunburst with a tiger-stripe pattern. The weight is 3.9kg as measured on a bathroom scale. Although it is a used item, it seems to be in good condition, perhaps because the previous owner didn't play it much. There are no scratches on the back of the neck that would interfere with playing. The fingerboard height is 1.8mm on the 6th string and 1.5mm on the 1st string at the 12th fret. It is set to standard settings. If you are concerned, please raise it a little. There is no fret wear.
