This is a 1950s gabardine jacket. The rayon fabric has a vintage feel, making it a very nice piece. Upon checking the zipper, it's a YKK rotary type, which isn't typically found on gabardine jackets. It was likely added later. It's rare to find one this large. It's reversible, which is not often seen these days. The color is a faded dark green, giving it an excellent atmosphere.
