This is a collection clear-out! ♪ This is a mug made in commemoration of the coronation of Edward VIII, manufactured by Beswick Ware in the UK. The mug was made with a mark from May 1937, coinciding with the coronation ceremony. However, Edward VIII abdicated in 1936, so the coronation did not actually take place, making this mug highly rare. Beswick was a kiln established in 1894 in Stoke-on-Trent, in the Cotswolds region of England. It was later acquired by Royal Doulton in 1969 and closed down in 2002. It was manufactured 87 years ago and has some dullness, but I believe it is in good condition with no chips or cracks. I am selling it as part of my collection clear-out. ■ Size Height: approx. 8.8 cm Diameter: approx. 8 cm ■ Shipping The price includes 750 yen for shipping. I would be happy if someone who will cherish it could take it. Search terms UK Pottery Porcelain Rare Scarce Vintage Antique Curio Brocante King Edward Royal Family England Tea Tea Cup Mug
