【Overview】 This is a self-made half rear soft filter for astrophotography (photo 1). Based on the filters I've made so far, I've created a half filter. This filter is effective when you want to apply the filter only to the starry sky and not to the scenery on the ground. 【Size and Material】 Size: 105mm x 100mm Thickness: 100μm (0.1mm) Material: PET (more rigid than polyester and less prone to scratches) 【Actual Shooting Examples】 Photos 2 and 3 are examples of actual shots taken with the half filter. The degree of blurring varies depending on the focal length of the lens, but you can see that the filter is applied only to the starry sky. 【How to Use】 This filter is used by attaching it to the rear side of the lens. Cut it with scissors or the like and fix the sides with double-sided tape. It can be used in either direction, regardless of front or back. Refer to photo 4 for how to attach it to the lens.
