These are custom-made drumsticks from Naritasan Kawada Taiko Kobo. They are for Taiko no Tatsujin players. In the late 2000s, the material, length, and taper were researched and developed for use as rapid-fire drumsticks. These drumsticks broke the previous rapid-fire record of 36 hits per second, achieving 37 hits per second. They are lighter than Japanese oak drumsticks.
