Based on Carl Hiaasen's novel "Striptease" (translated into Japanese as "Striptease" and published by Fusosha Mystery Bunko), the film was directed and written by Andrew Bergman, who is known for comedies such as "Honeymoon in Vegas" and "It Could Happen to You." Produced by him and his partner Mike Lobell. Cinematography by Stephen Goldblatt of "Batman Forever," art direction by Mel Bourne of "The Fisher King," editing by Anne V. Coates, and costumes by Albert Wolsky of "All That Jazz." The music score was written by Howard Shore of "Seven" and "Junction," and under the general supervision of Joel Sill, China Phillips, Color Me Badd, Annie Lennox, and Eurythmics provided the music. The film stars Demi Moore of "The Juror" and "The Scarlet Letter," and her $12.5 million salary was the highest ever for an actress at the time. She weighed over 55kg before filming, but she shaped up through hard training, and her sexy body performing striptease dances is a highlight. Co-starring Burt Reynolds of "The Player," Armand Assante of "Judge Dredd," Robert Patrick of "Die Hard 2," Ving Rhames of "Mission: Impossible," Pandora Peaks, who is famous as a busty stripper and model, and Demi's real-life 7-year-old daughter, Rumer Willis, makes her debut as her daughter. Story Erin works at a strip club to earn money for the court costs to get her daughter back from her ex-husband. However, an incident occurs where a fan of hers is murdered by Congressman Dilbeck and the villain Rohho, who is backing him. Erin tries to punish Dilbeck and the others, but she is captured instead.
