This is a half-cup katakuchi sake server, a work of art featuring rustic earthen forms with brushstroke patterns and iron glaze. The gradations of the iron glaze and the brushstroke painting create a beautiful, natural-looking sake vessel. It's from the Showa era, but in very good condition.
