Authentic men's flamenco boots purchased in 2002 from a flamenco specialty store in Ebisu. The black suede has a beautiful texture and makes a statement both on stage and in lessons. The balance from toe to heel is excellent, and the heel is specifically fitted with flamenco nails (tacks) for a clear and resonant sound. The inside is lined with leather for a comfortable fit. The outsole is reinforced for flamenco steps, providing durability for long-term use in the studio. The pull tabs at the opening are made with sturdy, hand-stitched construction. My feet are 26.5cm, but these were a bit tight, which was perfect for dancing. I used them for lessons once a week for a little over a month before I got too busy and had to stop. As a model manufactured in the early 2000s, I believe these are now difficult to find. Recommended for those who want to start flamenco or are looking for well-made shoes from the past.
