This is a hair ornament, such as a chinkoro or kanoko, for Shichi-Go-San (the traditional coming-of-age celebration for children) and coming-of-age ceremonies. It has been carefully crafted, even more so than a total-shibori obiage (a type of sash). It's plump and very cute. The length is approximately 70cm, and including the tassel, it's about 32cm. I make each one with care, but there may be some imperfections. Thank you for understanding that this is handmade. Please handle it gently, and avoid pulling strongly on the tassel.
