This was made from Oshima Tsumugi kimono with basting stitches, which was unpicked, washed, and ironed. It was a beautiful kimono in very good condition. The black fabric features red flowers and blue-green plant patterns, similar to turquoise. It's breathtakingly beautiful when the light hits it. This kimono has been transformed into a gorgeous dress with fluffy balloon sleeves with elastic. I made this with the hope that you can stay warm with a sweater underneath and spend the New Year's holidays elegantly. It's a maxi length for a mature look. The waist ribbon adds a touch of adult cuteness. Even without the ribbon, the gathered waist creates a gentle atmosphere. The Oshima Tsumugi has a lustrous and very light feel.
