I kept this in a cupboard. Unfortunately, I haven't had much of a chance to use it, so I'm putting it up for sale. This is porcelain made in and around Arita, Saga Prefecture, characterized by its translucent white skin and indigo blue sometsuke (underglaze painting). The mark "Kotomine," indicating the kiln, is on the back of the bowl. The sides have a lattice-like openwork design. I will ship it in simple packaging.
