This is a large shikishi board (a thick, square piece of paper) that was included as a special bonus with the Shogi Meijin-sen Zenshu (Complete Collection of the Meijin Tournament). It features calligraphy by the three great "Eisei Meijin" (Lifetime Meijin): Yoshio Kimura, the 14th Meijin; Yasuharu Oyama, the 15th Meijin; and Makoto Nakahara, the 16th Meijin. Needless to say, this shikishi is now a rare item and is traded at high prices among collectors. (Reference: In the recent New Shogi Kaikan crowdfunding campaign, the original handwritten shikishi that served as the master copy for this shikishi was offered as a return item for 500,000 yen and was sold.) It is approximately 48 years old, so it has some stains, but there are no folds, and the storage condition is not bad. Published in 1977 (Showa 52) Publisher: Taishukan Shoten As a bonus, I am also including a rare folding fan by the 13th Meijin, Kinjiro Sekine, although it is old and has some stains. Also, I have the complete set of the original "Meijin-sen Zenshu" that this shikishi came with. If you would like to purchase the complete set as well, I will include it for an additional 5,000 yen, so please let me know in the comment section. The cardboard and cover have some discoloration, but the text pages are clean. #Shogi #Meijinsen #YoshioKimura #KozoMasuda #YasuharuOyama #MakotoNakahara #KunioYonenaga #TatsuyaFutakami #HifumiKato #NobusukeOuchi #KojiMori
