The rails are TOMY. I don't know the manufacturer of the trains. 12 pieces. The trains do not have batteries and cannot move on their own. They can be played with by connecting them to something that moves. These were collected by a child, so there may be small scratches and dirt. They are being sold as-is, so the price is set low. There are no smokers or pets in my home, but they were stored in a home with a smoker for a while.
