A set of two teacups (choko) from the popular brand "Bushouan" purchased in Kyoto. These are lovely Japanese tableware pieces that express the brand's unique, high-class and retro-modern aesthetic, characteristic of a kimono brand. ● Design ・Left (Cherry Blossoms): A design featuring delicate cherry blossoms all over a pale beige background. ・Right (Plum/Branch Flowers): A stylish design with a gradient of dusty pink and gray, accented with blue and red. The small size makes them suitable for tea, as well as for soba choko, sake cups (ochoko), small bowls, or dessert cups. ● About the Markings ・The teacup with cherry blossoms (left) has the Bushouan mark (signature) on the bottom. ・The teacup with plum blossoms (right) does not have a marking on the bottom. (※These were sold as a set) ● Size (approximate) Diameter: Approximately 7.5cm Height: Approximately 8.5cm ● Condition After being used a few times, they have been carefully stored at home. There are cracks (fine, crack-like patterns on the surface) characteristic of pottery, as well as color unevenness and iron spots (black dots) that are unique to handmade items, but these are part of the "earthy" texture. There are no major chips or cracks, but please understand that these are used items before purchasing.
