"Nichinichi Kore Kōjitsu" (Every day is a good day) - Every day is the best good day. The Zen phrase "Nichinichi Kore Kōjitsu" in the title teaches the importance of living fully in the present moment, without regretting the past or having excessive expectations for the future. For example, we might feel that today is a good day or a bad day, but this is merely a feeling we create ourselves. The phrase teaches us that in reality, every day is the best good day. It has not been used as an ashtray and was displayed as an object in the tokonoma (alcove). It is made of a rather heavy material. ◇ As this was a gift from a vendor, there is silver writing on the upper and lower surfaces. I have taken photos, so please check them.
