According to the original description, the thickness is about 2mm, but I measured the thickness myself with 5 layers and it was about 1.8cm (about 3mm per piece). When compressed, 5 layers measured 5mm (about 1mm per piece). I've had experiences where cheap quilt batting bought from 100-yen shops was unusable, but this one has a good thickness and is inexpensive and easy to use. It has a slightly firm and soft feel. (It's not a supple, soft, and fluffy feel, nor is it a crisp, hard type.) This is a single piece listing, but bulk purchases of 2 or more pieces are also possible, so please comment if you'd like to purchase more!
