This is a slightly large carved ranma (transom) measuring 67cm wide, 19cm high, and 7cm deep. It features a carving of two phoenixes gracefully flying among the clouds. It is painted with yellow cashew lacquer. Applying gold paint over this would make it incredibly opulent and luxurious.
