This is an Etumi hot shoe adapter. It attaches to a camera's hot shoe (of a general shape) to allow connection of a sync cord type strobe. By attaching it to a camera's hot shoe (of a general shape), you can connect a sync cord type strobe and operate it in manual flash or external light auto mode. It supports the JIS standard hot shoe, which is a general shape. Operation with strobes with high sync voltages depends on the camera's internal circuitry, so please check your camera beforehand.
