This is a railway pocket watch commemorating the opening of the Joetsu Shinkansen line between Omiya and Niigata on November 15, 1982. It is the same model that railway drivers used at the time. The battery has been replaced for the listing, and it is currently running without any noticeable delay or advance. The size is 71mm (including the hanging ring) vertically and 50mm horizontally. The large face offers excellent visibility, with only slight differences in the logo compared to the pocket watches currently used by railway drivers. It can be carried around or used as a desk clock. There is almost no damage to the crystal, bezel, or back cover, and the overall exterior condition is good.
