The treble bezel can be used as a finger rest without modifying the body by replacing the rear pickup cover of the Rickenbacker 4001 and 4003. (No modification to the bass body or additional parts are required. It uses the existing pickup screws and springs, and maintains the height adjustment function of the original pickup.) In addition, it gives a neat impression around the bobbin. Furthermore, the absence of a cover on the top of the pickup makes it easy to adjust the pole pieces. Fits 4003 and 4001 models from the 70s onwards. It may also fit other Rickenbacker models that have the same pickup cover shape as the 4003 and 4001. For Greco and Fernandes, slight modification such as filing the PU frame of this product may be required.
