This is a wooden fish (mokugyo) I purchased at an antique market. I was told it's from the Meiji to early Taisho era. It was supposedly designed based on the fukugyo (a type of wooden fish) of the time. It could be interesting as a display stand, decorative stand, or figure stand. The shop owner said the wood was keyaki (Japanese zelkova), but I can't confirm that, so please judge from the images. It has dirt and scratches. Size: Width: 11.5 cm Height: 9 cm
