[Product Information] The Zeiss Ikon ZM was developed and manufactured by Cosina, which obtained a license from Carl Zeiss of Germany, and was sold from 2004 to 2012. The biggest attraction is the long effective base length of the rangefinder, which allows for more accurate focusing (effective base length: ZM 55.5mm, Leica M6 49.9mm). The 0.74x wide, bright, and clear viewfinder also contributes, and I personally think it surpasses the Leica M3 viewfinder. It also has a viewfinder frame parallax correction function, and the viewfinder frame has 28/35/50/85mm built-in. The electronically controlled shutter is fast up to 1/2000 second, and a TTL exposure meter is also built-in, allowing you to switch between aperture priority auto and manual modes. The exposure meter runs on LR44 batteries. The aluminum body combines robustness and portability, and the ability to utilize the rich lens assets of the Leica M mount is also a major advantage.
