In addition to clean boosting, it's possible to get twice the gain compared to a standard TS-9. It has been modified to true bypass using a high-quality 3PDT switch, so there's no need to worry about tone degradation caused by a buffered bypass circuit. The op-amp has been changed to JRC4558P, and accordingly, the capacitors and resistors have also been adjusted to an optimal balance. JHS has grown in scale, and they probably don't do this kind of modification very often anymore. With twice the gain of the normal version, it distorts well. Moreover, the picking nuance is not sacrificed, which is impressive. The TONE has a good range, even at 0. Even if you use the GAIN at around 11 o'clock, you can feel a sense of余裕 (room/headroom), which is good. This is a genuine import by Kyoritsu Corporation.
