I purchased the V-neck this year, so I haven't been able to confirm the differences from this year's version. The material hasn't changed, but there might be minor changes every year. The fabric feels very soft and comfortable. And it's incredibly warm. I've worn it about 5 times, so there's some slight pilling. It's a convenient color and a simple silhouette, so I recommend it.
