This is a dessert plate from Herend, a famous Hungarian porcelain manufacturer, from their iconic "Rothschild Bird" series. The series began in the mid-19th century, commissioned by the wealthy Rothschild family of Europe, and is still known as a popular and representative series of Herend today. It is a wavy plate decorated with beautiful illustrations of birds and plants.
