This is a remake of a used women's kimono and fabric from my home stock. There are signs of previous stitching, creases, wear, holes, and distortions. I have used a French seam, so you can use either side as the front, depending on your mood (see photos ① and ② for reference). ━ Materials ━ Cherry blossom = used women's kimono, 100% polyester Plain fabric = new fabric, cotton/poly blend 1 Hazu thread, hole thread, 100% silk The kimono was washed and the plain fabric was pre-shrunk before sewing. ━ Approximate Size ━ Yumaki (Bow Wrap) Width = 13cm Length = 275cm String Length = 61cm Kakebukuro (Bow Case) Width = 32cm Length = 46cm String Length = 65cm ━ Seams ━ Yumaki Cherry blossom = 1 place (near the pin in photo ①) Plain fabric = None Kakebukuro 1 seam added to the width of the fabric to make it 46cm ━ Colors ━ Plain = Akatsuki-nezumi (dawn gray), similar to Enji-nezumi (crimson gray) (_ _) Cherry blossom = Ebi-iro (grape color) I've tried many times, but the colors don't photograph accurately, so please use them as a reference.
