"Fève" refers to the small ceramic figurines or ornaments, originally derived from fava beans (Fève), that are placed inside the French traditional pastry "Galette des Rois" to celebrate the Epiphany on January 6th. The person who finds the fève in their slice of Galette des Rois becomes the "king (or queen)" and is blessed for the day, and is said to have good luck for the year. Since the fèves are hand-painted, there may be color unevenness, slight misalignments, or initial imperfections. Please consider this before purchasing.
