This piece features a design characteristic of the Japanese appreciation for the seasons, poetically depicting spring cherry blossoms, autumn foliage, and evergreen pine trees on a white porcelain base. The elaborate painting and vibrant colors are said to demonstrate the high technical skill of Arita ware at the time. Condition: Unused. It is a beautiful item with no dullness or scratches on the gold trim. It was rinsed with water once for the photoshoot. Upon inspection, there were two faint water droplet-like marks on the back of the piece. They are not noticeable in the photos and are not very prominent, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned or are a perfectionist. Please check the size. It is a small size, which may be difficult to discern from the photos.
