This is a table runner upcycled from a used, genuine silk (正絹) fukuro obi (袋帯). The obi is in beautiful condition. Please see the last photo. It is labeled "k24 gold leaf woven Jūka-bishi Mon" (k24金箔織重華菱紋). Various auspicious patterns from ancient Japan are woven into the fabric, and 24-karat gold leaf sparkles.
