Arita-yaki (Arita porcelain) Shell-shaped small plates / side plates Set of 2 These plates have been in the family since my great-grandfather's time and are believed to be from the early Showa era (1926-1989). The shell-shaped plates are decorated with a gourd design. 【Size】 Height: Approximately 2 cm Diameter: Approximately 11.5 cm Although difficult to see in the photos, the actual color is a slightly greenish pale blue. As these are quite old, there are areas where the gourd design has faded due to age-related deterioration. (See photos 5-6) These items have been stored at home for a long time since the early Showa era. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection like new or if you are very particular about condition. We appreciate your understanding as these are antique items from a bygone era.
